Wende Museum & Sculpture Garden Tour
About this event
"Wende" is a German word describing the transformative period around the fall of the Berlin Wall. The Wende Museum houses an unparalleled collection of more than 100,000 artifacts, archives, and personal histories of this period. A small portion of the collection is currently on view to the general public.
Join Chai Neighbors for a private docent-led one hour tour of Cold War memorabilia by Educational Director Michael Balot-Garza. Afterwards, participants may individually enjoy the sculpture garden. Free parking is available in City lots adjacent to the museum.
Enjoy an optional lunch (at your own cost) at Culver & Main Restaurant located at 3829 Main Street, Culver City, CA 90232. Park at Cardiff Parking; enter the parking at 3846 Cardiff Avenue, Culver City, CA 90232. The first hour is free; additional parking is subject to posted rates.
