Santa Monica Playhouse presents a newly reworked production of Author! Author! An Evening with Sholom Aleichem, the longest running Jewish musical in L.A. theater history. The story tracks immigrant and life issues with sweet songs and fun production numbers that bring out the flavor of the early 1900’s. Author! Author! is a magical, musical melee and celebration of the humor and wisdom of Sholom Aleichem, newly adapted from his wonderful stories and letters.
