Tai Chi - Free Beginner Intro Class
About this event
Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, Short Form is based on the teachings of Grandmasters William CC Chen and Cheng Man Ching. The principles of this Tai Chi style share elements with Chi Kung. These gentle movements promote balance, postural alignment, relaxation, improved blood and nerve circulation and alertness. The instructor, Michael K., is a certified senior-student of Grandmaster William CC Chen since 1978.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes. You should be able to walk and remain on your feet for at least 15 minutes. This introductory class will give you a clear idea of what you may expect in future classes.
This first class is complimentary. On January 8, 2026, Thursday weekly classes at 9:00 am will start for $50.00 per month. Registration will open December 11, 2025, after class. Monthly registration is required.
